Romano Classico Travertine
Romano Classico is a natural Italian travertine characterised by its warm beige colouring, distinctive mineral movement and classic natural stone appearance. Its refined surface combines the elegance and prestige of traditional travertine with the individuality and variation found in genuine natural stone.
The stone presents a predominantly warm beige and cream palette with naturally occurring tonal movement and mineral detailing throughout the surface. Depending on the cutting direction, Romano Classico can display either a softer cloudy structure or a more directional linear appearance, allowing the same material to create distinctly different architectural effects.
Available in polished, honed, matt and brushed finishes, Romano Classico can be adapted to a broad range of architectural styles and applications. A polished finish enhances the depth and richness of the stone, a honed finish creates a softer appearance, while matt and brushed surfaces provide more understated and textural interpretations of the material.
Romano Classico can be coordinated with timber, warm neutral finishes, darker natural stones, concrete, black architectural details and brushed or aged metal fixtures. Its warm beige colouring works particularly well in bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces where a timeless and naturally textured material palette is required.
Suitable for floor and wall applications, Romano Classico may be considered for residential and commercial interiors. Selected partially outdoor applications may also be possible subject to the chosen finish, sealing, installation requirements and environmental conditions. Tile and slab formats allow the material to be used across flooring, bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks, benchtops and larger architectural surfaces.
As a natural travertine, variation in colour, mineral markings, pores, tonal movement and surface character should be expected between individual pieces and slabs. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone rather than manufacturing defects. Viewing current samples or slabs is recommended before final selection.
