Cestino

Cestino brings a classic basketweave pattern to natural marble. White and softly grey-veined Bianco Carrara rectangular pieces alternate in direction around small Nero Marquina black square inserts, creating a balanced woven effect.

The honed finish gives the marble a subdued surface that works with the contrast between pale stone and dark accents. The repeating small-scale geometry adds detail to feature walls, splashbacks and selected interior floors.

Each sheet measures 302 × 302 × 10 mm and combines 23 × 48 mm rectangular pieces with 10 × 10 mm square inserts. Cartons contain five sheets, covering approximately 0.4562 m². Approximately 10.96 sheets are required per square metre, before allowing for cuts and wastage.

Listed applications include interior and exterior walls, interior floors, kitchen splashbacks, shower walls and fireplace surrounds. Cestino is not listed for exterior floors, commercial floors, shower floors, pool surrounds or submerged pools. Confirm suitability for the intended project and any required slip performance before specifying.

Sealing is required. Inspect all tiles before installation and blend pieces from several cartons bearing the same shade or lot number. Natural variations in veining, tone and surface are part of the marble's character. View a current physical sample before final selection.
