Carrara Slab

A natural Italian marble characterised by its soft white to pale grey background, delicate grey veining and subtle mineral movement. Its restrained natural pattern creates a refined and timeless architectural appearance while retaining the individuality and material character associated with genuine Carrara marble.

The stone presents a predominantly white and light grey palette with naturally occurring grey veins, fine mineral markings and gentle tonal variation throughout the surface. The direction, intensity and distribution of the veining vary between individual pieces and slabs, creating a naturally layered appearance without becoming overly dramatic.

Available in matt, polished and honed finishes, Carrara can be adapted to different architectural styles and applications. A polished finish enhances the depth and definition of the natural veining, a honed finish creates a softer and more understated surface, while a matt finish provides a restrained contemporary appearance.

Carrara can be coordinated with timber, darker natural stone, warm neutral finishes, black architectural details and brushed or polished metal fixtures. Its light neutral colouring makes it particularly suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces and architectural feature surfaces where a timeless natural stone aesthetic is required.

Suitable for floor and wall applications, Carrara may be considered for residential and commercial interiors, including flooring, bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks and feature surfaces. Slab applications may also be considered for larger architectural elements subject to confirmation of the required dimensions, thickness, fabrication and installation requirements.

As a natural marble, variation in colour, veining, mineral markings, pattern and surface character should be expected between individual pieces and slabs. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone rather than manufacturing defects. Viewing current samples or slabs is recommended before final selection.
