Carmina 12 is a vibrant Italian-made glass mosaic blend from Bisazza’s Opus Romano collection. Its bevelled square tesserae combine rich red, coral and orange tones, producing an energetic composition with subtle differences in colour, translucency and surface finish.

The compact mosaic format is suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, showers, swimming pools, spas and decorative feature surfaces. Its small tesserae can accommodate detailed layouts and gently curved surfaces, while the expressive warm palette creates a strong focal point in residential and commercial environments.

Carmina 12 is manufactured from durable, through-body coloured sintered glass enamel. The composition combines standard Opus Romano and Opus Romano Matt tesserae, including opaque satin-finished pieces with non-slip surface characteristics. The material is suitable for demanding applications, including indoor floors exposed to heavy pedestrian traffic.

Each tessera measures approximately 11.5 × 11.5 mm with a thickness of 4 mm. The mosaic is supplied paper-face mounted on 293 × 293 mm sheets containing 529 tesserae, with approximately 1.5 mm joints. Each carton contains 15 sheets covering approximately 1.29 m², with a material weight of approximately 7.5 kg/m².

Variations in colour, translucency, finish and tessera arrangement are characteristic of glass mosaic production. The selected grout colour will also influence the final installed appearance. Viewing current samples and confirming the grout before final specification or purchase is recommended.
