ardassa
Ardassa

Designed by Tricia Guild and made in Italy by Bisazza, Ardassa Emerald is a handcrafted glass mosaic decoration from the Flora collection. A sweeping botanical motif unfolds across the surface in vivid emerald and softly variegated aqua tones, translating the designer's celebrated use of colour, pattern and texture into an expressive architectural finish. The large-scale foliage creates an immersive statement while the fine 20 x 20 mm tesserae add depth, movement and luminous detail.

Ardassa Emerald is designed for bold feature walls, bathrooms, showers, pool environments and refined residential interiors. Its layered green palette pairs naturally with pale stone, warm timber, brushed metal, crisp white finishes and darker architectural elements. The decoration is sold by the square metre, can be adapted to the dimensions of the project and may be colour-customised through Bisazza's design service.

The pattern combines SM 11, SM 10 and VTC 20.72 glass mosaics and is supplied paper-face mounted. Fillgel Plus 8801 Verde Turchese is the recommended grout, reinforcing the design's saturated green field. Ardassa Emerald is suitable for light-traffic private residential floors, interior walls and showers. It is also suitable for exterior walls, swimming pools and spas when installed with Bisazza's specified system, but is not suitable for exterior floors.

Individual tesserae measure 20 x 20 mm and are approximately 4 mm thick. Standard sheets measure approximately 322 x 322 mm and contain 225 tesserae, with an approximate 1.57 mm joint and weight of 7 kg/m². The Australian listing identifies an overall decorative module of approximately 129 x 291 cm. For exterior, pool, spa and humid-area installations, Bisazza specifies its Pool Installation System using Ad Hoc cement adhesive, Ultra latex and Pool eGrout.

Glass mosaic colour, texture and reflectivity change with lighting, water, grout colour and viewing angle. Small variations between batches and individual tesserae are an expected part of the artisan finish, while photographs and screen colours are indicative only. Review current physical samples and approved artwork before ordering, and confirm substrate preparation, waterproofing, adhesive, grout and installation requirements with Bisazza and a qualified mosaic installer.

Key Feature

- Italian-made handcrafted designer glass mosaic
- Designed by Tricia Guild
- Bisazza Flora collection
- Large-scale botanical and scrolling-leaf decoration
- Emerald green and softly variegated aqua palette
- 20 x 20 mm tesserae
- Approximate thickness: 4 mm
- Standard sheet size: approximately 322 x 322 mm
- Overall decorative module: approximately 129 x 291 cm
- 225 tesserae per standard sheet
- Approximate joint: 1.57 mm
- Paper-face mounted
- Recommended grout: Fillgel Plus 8801 Verde Turchese
- Suitable for light-traffic private residential floors
- Suitable for interior walls and showers
- Suitable for pools, spas and exterior walls with the specified Bisazza installation system
- Not suitable for exterior floors
- Adaptable to the project surface and available with colour customisation
