Arabescato Tile
Arabescato is a natural Italian marble characterised by its distinctive grey veining, soft white to whitish-grey background and expressive natural movement. Its dramatic yet refined surface creates a sophisticated architectural appearance while retaining the individuality and material character associated with genuine natural marble.
The stone presents a predominantly white and pale grey palette crossed by naturally occurring grey veins and brecciated mineral patterns. The intensity, direction and distribution of these markings vary throughout the material, giving individual pieces and slabs their own character and creating a richly layered appearance across larger surfaces.
Available in polished and honed finishes, Arabescato can create different expressions while retaining its distinctive marble character. A polished finish enhances the depth, contrast and definition of the natural veining, while a honed finish produces a softer and more understated surface. Available in both tile and slab form, the material can be used across smaller tiled areas and larger architectural surfaces.
Arabescato can be coordinated with timber, warm neutral finishes, darker natural stone, black architectural details and brushed or polished metal fixtures. Its combination of a light background and expressive grey veining works particularly well in contemporary bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces where natural stone is intended to become a prominent architectural feature.
Suitable for floor and wall applications, Arabescato may be considered for residential and commercial interiors, including flooring, bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks and feature surfaces. Larger slabs may also be considered for applications such as benchtops subject to confirmation of the appropriate thickness, finish, fabrication and installation requirements.
As a natural marble, variation in colour, veining, mineral markings, pattern and surface character should be expected between individual pieces and slabs. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone rather than manufacturing defects. Viewing current samples or slabs is recommended before final selection.
