Designed by Emilio Pucci and made in Italy by Bisazza, Amelie is a dramatic glass mosaic pattern created for swimming pools and luxury wet-area interiors. The design translates Pucci's unmistakable graphic language into sweeping bands, oversized floral forms and rhythmic geometric details. Crisp white, charcoal black and soft grey combine to create a bold, fashion-led surface that becomes especially luminous beneath water.
Amelie is offered as six coordinated decorative modules—A through F—allowing the pattern to flow across large pool walls, floors and curved surfaces. The composition can be adapted to different dimensions and customised in colour through the Bisazza Design Studio. Beyond swimming pools, the pattern can create memorable feature walls in spas, bathrooms, showers and high-end hospitality settings, where its large scale and strong movement deliver exceptional visual impact.
The decoration is assembled from 10 × 10 mm glass mosaic tesserae and supplied paper-face mounted in a 3.73 m² order unit. Its palette combines Smalto SM 10.01 and SM 10.77 with Vetricolor VTC 10.10, VTC 10.50 and VTC 10.66. Bisazza recommends Fillgel Plus 7704 Grigio Azzurro grout. The mosaic is suitable for pools and spas, interior and exterior walls, showers and light-traffic interior floors when installed with the specified Bisazza system; it is not recommended for exterior flooring.
Amelie is manufactured in Italy. Individual tesserae measure 10 × 10 mm with an approximate thickness of 4 mm. Standard technical sheets measure approximately 322 × 322 mm and contain 900 tesserae, with an approximate 0.76 mm joint and finished weight of around 7 kg/m². Each complete decorative module measures approximately 129.1 × 290.5 cm, and the official Australian order unit is 3.73 m².
Glass mosaic colour and reflectivity change with water depth, light direction, grout colour and viewing angle. Small differences between batches are part of the material's character, while screen and photographic reproduction remain indicative. Review current samples and approved pattern artwork before ordering, and confirm the substrate preparation, epoxy adhesive, pool grout and installation system with Bisazza and a qualified mosaic installer.
