altea
Altea

Altea is an Italian-made glass mosaic blend by Bisazza, combining soft ivory, beige and taupe tones with subtle iridescent highlights. Its randomly arranged 20 × 20 mm square tesserae form a refined neutral surface that gently changes in appearance as it catches the light.

The blend combines Canvas CN 07, Vetricolor VTC 20.33 and Gloss GL 12 tesserae. Its balanced natural palette works beautifully in bathrooms, showers, swimming pools, spas, kitchen splashbacks and decorative feature areas across residential and selected commercial interiors.

Canvas contributes a tactile, fabric-inspired surface, while Vetricolor provides a softly sand-blasted texture. Gloss introduces smooth iridescent tesserae with shifting reflections. Altea is suitable for internal walls, light-traffic private residential floors, external walls, showers, swimming pools and spas. It is not suitable for external floor applications.

Each tessera measures 20 × 20 mm with an approximate thickness of 4 mm. The mosaics are supplied on 322 × 322 mm Hotmelt-mounted sheets containing 225 tesserae, with an approximate joint width of 1.57 mm. Each carton contains 20 sheets covering approximately 2.07 m² and weighs approximately 7 kg per square metre. Bisazza recommends Fillgel Plus 1104 Neutro Base for appropriate standard installations.

Variations in colour, texture, iridescence and tessera arrangement are inherent characteristics of decorative glass mosaics. Viewing current samples and confirming the correct Bisazza installation and grouting system are recommended before final selection, particularly for swimming pools, exterior surfaces and permanently wet areas.

KEY FEATURES

Italian-made Bisazza glass mosaic

Miscele 20 collection

Random blend of Canvas CN 07, Vetricolor VTC 20.33 and Gloss GL 12

Soft ivory, beige and taupe colour palette

Tactile, sand-blasted and iridescent finishes

20 × 20 mm square tesserae

Approximately 4 mm thick

322 × 322 mm Hotmelt-mounted sheet

225 tesserae per sheet

Approximately 1.57 mm joint width

20 sheets per carton

Approximately 2.07 m² per carton

Approximately 7 kg per square metre

Suitable for internal walls

Suitable for light-traffic private residential floors

Suitable for external walls with the correct installation system

Suitable for showers, swimming pools and spas

Not suitable for external floors
