Romano Navona Travertine
Romano Navona is a natural Italian travertine characterised by its warm beige colouring, distinctive mineral detailing and elegant natural movement. Its refined surface creates a timeless architectural appearance while retaining the depth, individuality and variation associated with genuine travertine.
The stone presents a predominantly warm beige and cream palette with naturally occurring tonal movement, mineral markings and subtle variation throughout the surface. Depending on the cutting direction, Romano Navona can display either a softer cloudy structure or a more directional linear appearance, allowing the material to create different architectural effects while maintaining a consistent natural character.
Available in natural, polished and honed finishes, Romano Navona can be adapted to different architectural styles and applications. A polished finish enhances the warmth, depth and definition of the stone, a honed finish creates a softer and more understated appearance, while the natural finish retains a restrained and authentic material character.
Romano Navona can be coordinated with timber, warm neutral finishes, darker natural stones, concrete, black architectural details and brushed or aged metal fixtures. Its warm beige colouring makes it particularly suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces and larger architectural surfaces where a timeless and naturally textured material palette is required.
Suitable for floor and wall applications, Romano Navona may be considered for residential and commercial spaces. Selected outdoor applications may also be possible subject to the chosen finish, sealing, installation requirements and environmental conditions. Tile and slab formats allow the material to be considered for flooring, bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks, benchtops and larger architectural feature surfaces.
As a natural travertine, variation in colour, mineral markings, pores, tonal movement and surface character should be expected between individual pieces and slabs. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone rather than manufacturing defects. Viewing current samples or slabs is recommended before final selection.
