Motion
Motion is an Italian-made ceramic subway tile collection designed by Pierre Charpin for Ceramiche Piemme. Inspired by traditional maiolica, its softly irregular surface and subtle tonal movement bring depth to a contemporary palette. The slender 75 × 300 mm format creates a refined linear appearance.
Available in Charcoal, Cloud, Denim, Fern, Snow and Taupe, Motion offers a balanced selection of dark charcoal, pale grey, smoky blue, muted green, ivory-white and warm taupe tones. Suitable for kitchen splashbacks, bathroom walls and commercial interiors, the rectangular format accommodates stacked, vertical and running-bond layouts.
Manufactured using digital technology on a white-body ceramic base, Motion features a natural finish and V2 slight shade variation. Its softly varied surface creates a handmade look, with the collection intended for internal wall applications.
Made in Italy, each tile measures 75 × 300 mm with a nominal thickness of 8.5 mm. Each box contains 22 pieces with a listed coverage of 0.50 m² and an approximate weight of 7.29 kg.
