Gloria Mosaic Blend
Gloria is an Italian-made glass mosaic blend by Bisazza, created for luxurious swimming pools, spas and wet-area interiors. The composition combines translucent silver, soft grey and subtle green-toned tesserae with pearlescent and copper-like reflections, producing a sophisticated neutral appearance out of water and a luminous aqua-blue effect when immersed.
The layered, light-responsive palette complements both contemporary and traditional pool settings. Gloria can line entire pools and spas or be used selectively across waterlines, steps, benches, curved walls, showers and bathroom feature surfaces. Its restrained colouring works especially well with pale stone, concrete, timber and landscaped surrounds.
The blend uses 20 × 20 mm bevelled glass tesserae and is supplied on Bisazza’s Hotmelt support system. This mounting method exposes more of the tile back to the adhesive, supporting strong installation performance in permanently immersed environments and compliance with the adhesion requirements of current Australian standards.
Made in Italy, Gloria is approximately 4 mm thick and supplied on sheets measuring about 322 × 322 mm. The 2.07 m² order unit contains 20 sheets. Its component colours are Le Gemme GM 20.32 and GM 20.37 with Smalto SM 24, and Bisazza recommends Fillgel Plus 7704 Grigio Azzurro grout.
Glass colour, translucency and reflectivity change noticeably with lighting, water depth, surrounding materials and viewing angle. Batch variation is inherent to decorative glass mosaic. Review current physical samples both wet and dry, and confirm the installation system with the supplier and installer before final selection.
