Gladiolo
Gladiolo is an Italian-made glass mosaic shading blend by Bisazza, combining fresh aquatic colour with a refined graduated design. Its small 20 × 20 mm tesserae transition from luminous white and pale aqua through turquoise, sky blue and deeper cobalt tones, with pearlescent and violet accents adding reflective depth.
The cool, water-inspired palette is particularly suited to swimming pools, spas, showers and contemporary bathrooms. It also creates a distinctive finish on feature walls, curved surfaces and architectural details. Eight coordinated mixes are arranged from light to dark, producing a continuous vertical gradient with an elegant, softly changing appearance.
Each glass mosaic tessera measures 20 × 20 mm and is paper face mounted for accurate installation. The standard shading blend contains eight sheets—one mix per sheet—and reaches an overall height of approximately 2,588 mm. Individual mixes may also be specified separately where a uniform rather than graduated surface is required.
Made in Italy, Gladiolo has a nominal thickness of 4 mm, sheet dimensions of approximately 322 × 322 mm and a finished weight of approximately 7 kg/m². Each complete eight-sheet module covers 0.83 m². Bisazza recommends Fillgel Plus 7701 Azzurro Cielo grout, selected to complement the blue and turquoise composition.
Glass colour, reflectivity and shading may vary under changing light, water and viewing conditions. Minor production and batch variations are inherent to decorative mosaic. Review current samples and the complete eight-sheet shading layout before final selection, specification or installation.
