Corfu
Made in Italy by Bisazza, Corfu is a refined swimming-pool mosaic pattern from the Pools Collection, designed by Marco Braga. A crisp white circular motif is set against a vivid blue field, creating a rhythmic graphic surface that becomes softer and more luminous beneath the water. The simple two-colour composition gives pools a fresh Mediterranean character while retaining a clean, architectural appearance.
Corfu is composed from VTC 20.64 and VTC 20.10 Vetricolor glass mosaics. The repeating pattern can extend across pool floors, walls, steps or waterline areas, and Bisazza states that it is sold by the square metre, adaptable to different surfaces and customisable in colour. Its balanced scale also makes it suitable for bathrooms, showers, spas and feature walls where a bold but orderly motif is desired.
Each individual tessera measures 20 × 20 mm and is supplied paper-face mounted on 322 × 322 mm sheets. A standard sheet contains approximately 225 tesserae, with an approximate 1.57 mm joint, 4 mm thickness and weight of approximately 7 kg/m². The Australian order unit is 2.07 m², and the recommended grout is Fillgel Plus 1103 Bianco Neve.
Corfu is suitable for light-traffic residential indoor floors, indoor walls, showers, swimming pools, spas and exterior walls. It is not suitable for exterior floors. For swimming pools, exterior walls and high-humidity environments, installation should follow the specified Bisazza Pool Installation System, including the appropriate adhesive, latex and epoxy grout, together with correct substrate preparation and waterproofing.
Glass mosaic can vary subtly in colour, surface texture and reflectivity as a natural result of its manufacturing process. Its appearance also changes with lighting, viewing distance, water depth and grout colour.
