Cartier Gloss

Cartier Gloss is an elongated glazed porcelain tile collection designed to combine the charm of an antique handmade brick with the light-reflective character of a gloss finish. Its slim proportions, rippled texture, aged edges and intentional surface imperfections create an organic architectural finish with more depth and individuality than a uniform subway tile.

Differences in colour, glaze depth, relief, edge character and apparent surface imperfections between individual pieces create natural-looking movement. These variations are intentional and reinforce the collection’s handcrafted appearance.

The gloss surface catches and reflects light across the irregular relief, intensifying tonal movement and highlighting the collection’s handmade character. Its reflective appearance can help brighten compact rooms while retaining an aged, tactile quality.

The slim 45 × 230 mm format supports horizontal, vertical, stacked, offset and staggered layouts. Its elongated proportions can visually widen a wall when installed horizontally or emphasise height when installed vertically.

Cartier can be coordinated with timber, limestone, terrazzo, warm neutrals and brushed or aged metal fixtures. Pale tones suit calm, restrained interiors, while the deeper greys and blue tones can create stronger architectural contrast.

The manufacturer identifies the underlying Antique collection as 10 mm glazed porcelain suitable for internal and external wall and floor applications. Project-specific requirements—including slip resistance, wet-area exposure, substrate, waterproofing and local compliance—should be confirmed before specification.
