Calpe

Calpe is a handmade-look ceramic tile collection characterised by its fluid surface, rich shade variation and distinctive glossy finish. Inspired by traditional handmade tiles, its textured and intentionally irregular appearance creates depth and movement across tiled surfaces while retaining the practical qualities of ceramic.

The collection is available in seven coordinated colourways. Wrought Iron introduces a deep charcoal-black appearance with softer grey variation, while Washed Blue offers a pale atmospheric blue. Snow provides a soft off-white option, and Forest introduces a deep botanical green. Flamingo brings a muted blush-pink tone, Cloud creates a versatile soft grey surface, while Clary Sage offers a light and restrained sage green.

Calpe's glossy glaze interacts with its textured surface and changing tonal depth to create a fluid appearance. Differences in shade and surface character between individual tiles are intentional, allowing completed installations to develop natural visual movement rather than appearing completely uniform.

Available in two formats, Calpe provides flexibility for different wall layouts. The 100 × 100 mm square format creates a traditional modular appearance, while the 75 × 150 mm rectangular format can be arranged horizontally, vertically, stacked, bricked or staggered to create different architectural effects.

Calpe can be coordinated with timber, natural stone, warm neutral finishes, painted cabinetry and brushed or aged metal fixtures. Snow, Cloud and Clary Sage work particularly well across softer and restrained interiors, while Wrought Iron, Forest, Washed Blue and Flamingo can introduce stronger colour and contrast to feature surfaces.

Suitable for wall applications, Calpe may be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, splashbacks, powder rooms and feature walls in residential and selected commercial interiors.

Variation in colour, shade, glaze, texture and surface appearance should be expected between individual tiles. These characteristics are intentional and form part of Calpe's handmade aesthetic. Viewing current samples is recommended before final selection.
