Bougainvillier is an Italian luxury glass mosaic decoration designed by Carlo Dal Bianco for Bisazza. Part of the Flora collection, its oversized bougainvillea blossoms form a dramatic botanical composition with the expressive scale of a mural. The vivid floral silhouette and softly graduated background give the design a glamorous, immersive character for statement residential, hospitality and wellness interiors.
The design combines vibrant fuchsia-pink flowers with a background that transitions through charcoal, smoky taupe and luminous ivory. Its 970 × 2910 mm decorative module creates a generous vertical repeat that can be adapted to different surface dimensions, while colour customisation is available through Bisazza for project-specific schemes. Bougainvillier works especially well as a full-height feature wall in living rooms, dining spaces, bathrooms, boutique hotels and luxury retail environments.
Bougainvillier is composed of 10 × 10 mm glass mosaic tesserae and supplied paper mounted for professional installation. The tesserae are approximately 4 mm thick, arranged on 322 × 322 mm sheets with 900 pieces per sheet and joints of approximately 0.76 mm. Specified colours are SM 10.15, VTC 10.28, VTC 10.56, VTC 10.32 and VTC 10.65; Bisazza recommends Fillgel Plus 1104 Neutro Base grout.
Designed within Bisazza's Italian mosaic tradition, Bougainvillier weighs approximately 7 kg/m². It is suitable for indoor walls and showers with the Bisazza Epoxy Installation Kit, and for outdoor walls, swimming pools and spas with the Bisazza Epoxy Pool Installation System. Light-traffic indoor residential flooring is possible only with the specified epoxy installation system; the product is not suitable for outdoor flooring.
Mosaic colour, reflectivity and visual texture can vary with lighting, grout colour, viewing distance and production batch. The final appearance will also depend on the crop and positioning of the adaptable decorative module.
