Bonaparte Wall is a monumental Italian glass mosaic decoration designed by Carlo Dal Bianco for Bisazza. Part of the Timeless collection, it depicts a dramatically lit classical male portrait with the visual depth and tonal precision of a large-scale photographic artwork. The restrained palette of white, stone, grey and deep charcoal gives the ancient subject a striking contemporary presence.
The decoration is formed from 10 × 10 mm tesserae and supplied as a 1300 × 2910 mm module. Carefully graduated Vetricolor and Le Gemme tones model the portrait through subtle shifts in highlight, shadow and texture. Bonaparte Wall creates an architectural focal point in bathrooms, wellness areas, pools, hospitality interiors and other spaces that can accommodate its tall vertical composition.
The mosaic is paper mounted for professional installation. Individual tesserae are approximately 4 mm thick, arranged on 322 × 322 mm sheets containing 900 pieces, with joints of approximately 0.76 mm. The principal colours are VTC 10.10, VTC 10.65, VTC 10.32, VTC 10.33, VTC 10.56, VTC 10.86, VTC 10.66, VTC 10.55, VTC 10.09, VTC 10.37, GM 10.33 and GM 10.77.
Designed and manufactured within Bisazza's Italian mosaic tradition, Bonaparte Wall weighs approximately 7 kg per square metre. It is suitable for light-traffic indoor residential floors, indoor walls and showers when installed with the Bisazza Epoxy Installation Kit. Exterior walls, swimming pools, spas and other humid environments require the Bisazza Epoxy Pool Installation System. The decoration is not suitable for outdoor flooring.
Mosaic colour, reflectivity and tonal balance can vary with lighting, grout colour, viewing distance and production batch. Because this is a large figurative composition, the final module position and surrounding field mosaic should be confirmed before ordering.
