Augusta

Augusta is an Italian-made Bisazza glass mosaic blend distinguished by its dramatic combination of 10 × 10 mm and 20 × 20 mm tesserae. The alternating sizes create a structured geometric pattern, while the deep colour palette gives the surface a luxurious and contemporary character.

Black, charcoal, silver-grey and deep blue-violet tones are combined with shimmering and iridescent details. The contrasting colours and mixed tessera sizes make Augusta especially effective across feature walls, bathrooms, showers, spas and sophisticated pool interiors.

Augusta combines Gloss GL 13, Le Gemme GM 20.77 and Smalto SM 10.77. Gloss introduces a reflective iridescent surface, Le Gemme provides handcrafted sparkling details, and Smalto contributes rich, vibrant colour. The square, bevelled tesserae are arranged in a mixed-format pattern and supplied paper-face mounted.

Made in Italy, Augusta combines 10 × 10 mm and 20 × 20 mm tesserae measuring approximately 4 mm thick. Each sheet measures approximately 272 × 272 mm with joints of approximately 1 mm. The order unit contains 10 sheets covering approximately 0.68 m², and Bisazza recommends Fillgel Plus 2201 Nero Ebano grout.

Variations in colour, pattern, reflectivity and surface appearance are inherent characteristics of decorative glass mosaics. Appearance may also vary between samples, production batches, installed lighting and immersion in water. Viewing current samples is recommended before final selection.
