Acquario
Acquario is a luxurious glass mosaic blend by Italian mosaic house Bisazza. Its square, bevelled 20 × 20 mm tesserae combine aqua, turquoise, blue-grey and luminous neutral tones with shimmering metallic detail, creating an expressive surface inspired by the colour and movement of water.
The blend combines Le Gemme GM 20.24, GM 20.47 and GM 20.49 in a randomly arranged composition. Its aquatic palette is ideal for swimming pools, spas, bathrooms, showers, kitchen splashbacks and decorative feature walls, where the varied colours create depth without forming a repetitive pattern.
Le Gemme mosaics are produced using artisanal techniques involving aventurine, coloured enamel granules and copper crystals mixed with brilliant metal oxides. This process produces the collection’s distinctive golden, scintillating and flamed effect. Acquario is suitable for internal walls, light-traffic residential floors, external walls, swimming pools, spas and showers. It is not suitable for exterior flooring.
Each tessera measures 20 × 20 mm and is 4 mm thick. The 322 × 322 mm sheets contain 225 tesserae and are supplied in cartons of 20 sheets, covering approximately 2.07 m². Fillgel Plus 1104 Neutro Base is the recommended grout for suitable internal applications. For swimming pools, external installations and high-humidity areas, Bisazza’s Pool Installation System and Pool eGrout should be used.
Variation in colour, shade, transparency, metallic detail and surface character is inherent to handcrafted glass mosaics. Slight chipping may occur as a characteristic of the product, and colours cannot be guaranteed to match between separate production batches. Viewing current samples before final selection is recommended.
