De Fazio Ceramic Imports

Joe and Teresa De Fazio, long known in the Construction industry as Luiva Constructions, decided there was a need for a professional tile retailer in Melbourne. De Fazio began and established its roots in a warehouse in Talbot Street Brunswick in 1973. They decided to open a showroom in Sydney Road Coburg and nearby Ascot Vale, establishing a respected name in the tile industry.

In the late seventies, De Fazio decided to combine the two showrooms and extend their warehouse to include a main street showroom. After hard work the showroom was finally finished and De Fazio established itself as one of the powers in the Tile Industry, which would never end. In the late 80's De Fazio had such a large market share that demand forced them to extend to include a main street frontage of over 100 metres, quadrupling their current warehouse and showroom size. Their showroom was then and still is now one of the largest and most liked showrooms in Australia. Still at their premises from when they started 24 years ago, De Fazio has established a name for itself that will never be tumbled off its blocks.
